Tristwood

Austria’s Tristwood was originally formed by bassist Deimon and guitarist Neru in 1996, then beneath the moniker of “Dec.” Motivated by black steel rings like Khold, Dimmu Borgir, and Mayhem, the duo documented a single demonstration the following calendar year; then proceeded to go their separate methods until 2001, if they became a member of pushes with guitarist Jegger, bought themselves some samplers, keyboards, and digital drums, and proceeded to reinvent themselves as an industrial-cum-techno-flavored intensive metal band, today baptized Tristwood. 2003 noticed the discharge of their initial new function: a five-song EP entitled Fragments from the Mechanical Unbecoming, offering cynical lyrics inspired with the end-of-time tales of writers like Eric truck Lustbader and Christoph Ransmayr — and there implemented 2004’s probably darker and certainly even more advanced full-length, Amygdala. The last mentioned introduced brand-new vocalist Axumis to their rates, and, after re-recording some old, gloomy, mid-tempo materials for 2005’s Svarta Daudi EP, Tristwood inked a fresh agreement with Sound Riot Information for the discharge of their even more loss of life metal-tinged second, LP, The Delphic Doctrine.
