Among the many offshoots of Savage Republic, Autumnfair based their audio in the early-’80s post-punk result from the Manufacturer and 4AD brands. Savage Republic bassist/guitarist/vocalist Thom Fuhrmann began the music group in 1986 with Val Haller, a bassist/vocalist who got previously used Jayne State, the Traveling Lizards, and Lords of the brand new Church. The rest from the music group included, at different factors, Biff Sanders (an SR engineer), Scott Feemster, Caroline Topalian, Jack port Housen, and Savage Republic’s Greg Grunke. All informed, they experienced three lineups. Although group quit working in 1989, non-e of their materials was released until 1991, when Individual Project Information (the label operate by SR’s Bruce Licher) released the 10″ EP Glaciers and Gods in 1991. 11 years afterwards, the Mobilization label (just one more SR-related imprint) released Autumnfair 1986-1989, a Compact disc compilation that matched a remastered edition from the 1991 EP with previously unissued materials.
