The origins from the Brooklyn-based rock group Apes & Androids get back to a third-grade class in NJ where future singer/guitarists Brian Jacobs and David Tobias met. Quickly they were composing music. While going to different schools, they still had written together long-distance, plus they later on reunited to create the music group. Apes & Androids are recognized for extremely theatrical live shows. They self-released their debut recording Bloodstream Moon on January 22, 2008.
