Formerly referred to as Ian Van Dahl, the Belgian dance outfit who scored several U.K. TOP hits in the first 2000s (“Castles in the Sky,” “AM I GOING TO?”), AnnaGrace is actually a solo automobile for frontwoman Annemie Coenen (given birth to in Herk-de-Stad, 1978). After two studio room attempts, Ace and Shed and Found out, she continued to build up her melodic trance-pop audio under her fresh guise in 2008, and with help from regular maker Peter Luts, obtained a Billboard Sizzling Dance Airplay number 1 with “You Make Me Experience,” and a high 20 recording in her homeland with 2010’s Prepared to Dare.
