Alexandre Pires

Brazilian Alexandre Pires (blessed Alexandre Pires do Nascimento) started his professional career in the past due ’80s when he joined up with an area band called Só Pra Contrariar. The group produced a self-titled debut record, released in 1993, plus they became a top-selling action in 1997 while climbing graphs with “Depois perform Prazer” and “Mineirinho.” In 1999, Só Pra Contrariar produced a successful record in Spanish known as Juegos de Amor — which highlighted the tune “Santo Santo,” documented alongside Gloria Estefan — and accomplished an Ondas honor that same yr. In 2001, Alexandre Pires’ 1st solo album premiered within the U.S. and Latin America concurrently.
