Agnes Bernelle

b. Agnes Bernauer, 1923, Berlin, Germany, d. 16 Feb 1999, Eire. Bernelle’s Hungarian-born dad, Rudolph Bernauer, was a theater owner who also had written lyrics, and Marlene Dietrich was a family group friend. She produced her film debut at age seven, playing a son. Her dad was Jewish and in 1936, using the rise from the Nazis, the family members shifted to London to flee persecution. Bernelle’s dad wrote and aimed some movies while in London. She caused the Free of charge German Little league of Culture and in addition took component in propaganda broadcasts to Germany, as ‘Vicky the Sailor’s Sweetheart’. In 1945 she wedded Desmond Leslie, an Irish fighter pilot in the Royal Atmosphere Force who was simply a cousin of Winston Churchill. Her last screen efficiency was like a bedridden female in the 1998 brief Still Life.
