Barry Wood

Swing-era vocalist Barry Timber was the sibling of bandleader Barney Rapp, although he began his profession being a sideman under Pal Rogers; when Rogers refused him the chance to sing, Timber exited to business lead his very own orchestra, eventually getting as a normal in the Lucky Hit Strike Parade Radio Present. Scoring popular with the one “Ev’rybody Ev’ry Short term,” he afterwards left music to carefully turn to a profession in television creation. Wood passed away in 1968.
