Zezinho

Zezinho wrote the famous “”Samba Fantástico.” He started his formal research of music at 14. In 1934, he was employed as clarinetist from the Banda de Música Municipal de Cafelândia. Having shifted to São Paulo in 1937, he worked well in the Rádio Bandeirante, Rádio Record, and Cassino São Vicente, in Santos. In Feb 1944, he shifted to Rio de Janeiro where he was employed from the Cassino Copacabana. In Rio, he carried out Artie Shaw’s “Clarinet Concerto” and Benny Goodman’s “The Clarinet Ruler.” Later on, he was employed by Rádio Tupi and continuing performing concerts.
