Wolfchant

Though they often times pillage Scandinavian legends for the inspiration behind their pagan folk steel, the band referred to as Wolfchant actually comes from St. Oswald, Germany, where vocalist (and in addition sometime bassist and guitarist) Lokhi, guitarists Skaahl and Gaahnt, and drummer Norgahd (who also added periodic vocals, keyboards, and accordion) initial joined pushes in 2003. The next year marked the discharge of two demos ( “The Fangs from the Southern Loss of life” and “The Herjan Trilogy” ) that helped create the group’s penchant for merging harsh, black steel design vocals with bountiful electric guitar melodies, and paved just how because of their critically acclaimed 2005 debut record, Bloody Stories of Disgraced Lands, and its own follow-ups, A Pagan Surprise (2007) and Established Damnation (2009). The last mentioned inaugurated a fresh agreement with Massacre Information and noticed Wolfchant extended with tempo guitarist Derrmorh, keyboardist Gvern, and bassist Bahznar.
