Witchery

Sweden’s Witchery was created in 1997 after Satanic Slaughter creator Ztephan Dark made a decision to fireplace his band, which in turn contains guitarists Patrik Jensen (of Seance as well as the Haunted) and Richard Corpse, vocalist Toxine, and drummer Mique. The four of these recruited bassist Sharlee D’ Angelo of Mercyful Destiny and instantly released Witchery’s initial record, Restless and Deceased. Witchery’s riff-heavy design, hailing back again to the melodic steel from the ’80s, was well-received by both critics and enthusiasts. The mix of Patrik Jensen, known generally for his use the Haunted, and Mercyful Destiny bassist Sharlee D’ Angelo set up Witchery being a dark/death steel supergroup. Their second discharge was the 1999 EP Witchburner, comprised of four addresses and three originals. Covering tracks by W.A.S.P., Judas Priest, Accept, and Dark Sabbath, Witchery paid tribute towards the groups which have inspired their sound. Deceased, Hot, and Prepared followed soon thereafter, getting their third launch in under a year’s period. 2006’s Don’t Dread the Reaper noticeable the band’s debut for Hundred years Media Information, and presented a cover of Satanic Slaughter’s “Immortal Loss of life.” Witchkrieg decreased this year 2010, with In His Infernal Majesty’s Support, the band’s 6th studio room long-player, arriving in 2016.
