Though these were initially discovered while using at a little club in Puerto Vallarta, the acoustic duo of Willie Royal and Wolfgang “Lobo” Fink have been influenced with the music of the whole planet — Royal, though given birth to in Texas, traveled along with his Air Force father to Turkey, Germany, Mexico, holland and France, while Fink, given birth to in Germany, also lived in Spain, Jamaica and Mexico. Therefore, Willie & Lobo’s music contains affects from Gypsy music, Tex-Mex, flamenco, sizzling jazz, reggae, tango, and so many more designs. The duo fulfilled in Mexico and after playing collectively briefly, proceeded to go their separate methods, with Fink documenting two albums as Lobo through the mid-’80s. These were collectively again once and for all by 1991, Royal’s classically qualified but jazz-inspired violin meshing well with Fink’s dynamic flamenco acoustic guitar. Willie & Lobo have been playing collectively for quite some time before being found by Mesa/Bluemoon for American launch in 1993.
