Vocalist Willie Collins sang clean, soulful Southern flavored R&B/New York-recorded ballads with 1, “Let’s BEGIN,” charting quantity 43 R&B in Billboard during springtime 1986. Hailing from NEW YORK, Collins relocated to NY. His 1986 Capitol LP, Where You Gonna Become Tonight? was made by Billy Nichols and Collins. Besides “Let’s BEGIN” (which is within the vein of Freddie Jackson’s “Rock and roll Me Tonight”), the recording boasted the clean lush title monitor co-written by Joylon Skinner, the loping, languid ballad “Restless,” the lilting “Ain’t No Female.”
