Willie Borum

b. 4 November 1911, Memphis, Tennessee, USA, d. c.60s. Borum discovered guitar as a kid from his dad and Jim Jackson, afterwards adding harmonica, which he discovered very much from Noah Lewis. He performed in the roads in jug rings, and proved helpful in Mississippi with Garfield Akers, Willie Dark brown and Robert Johnson. In 1934, he followed his fellow Memphians Hattie Hart and Allen Shaw on record for Vocalion, executing four monitors of his very own that were not really released. After portion in america Army during Globe Battle II he continuing to play sometimes, but had generally retired from music until a short come back when he was uncovered by blues historian/manufacturer Sam Charters in 1961. This led to two albums, an appearance within a documentary film, and concerts. He’s reported to possess died towards the finish from the 60s.
