Created in 2006 by Phil Bozeman, Brandon Cagle, and Ben Savage, tech-heavy Knoxville, Tennessee-based death steel outfit Whitechapel (called for the London neighborhood where in fact the notorious Jack port the Ripper removed the majority of his victims) mix grindcore, hardcore, and black color steel into an unholy trinity of audio violence.
