Weekend

A German hip-hop musician known for his often-comic lyrical design, rapper Weekend was created Christoph Wiegand in 1986. Deeply inspired by German rap staff Creutzfeld & Jakob, Weigand started engaging in hop-hop in 2001, and in 2005, he began performing and documenting beneath the name Weekend (the name discussing the actual fact that rapping was his hobby, as he produced his living being a public employee). Weekend’s preliminary releases were submitted online as free of charge downloading, including his initial full-length record, 2009’s Supporters Gesucht, and he made an appearance on mixtapes with various other German MCs including Beatzebs, Reffnek, and Tesa. In 2011, Weekend performed in the Video Defeat rap battle competition, making his method in to the finals after upsetting Tamo-Flag within a match, and he participated in the Splash! competition in 2012. Weekend’s achievement in rap fights eventually resulted in a record cope with Chimperator Productions. Weekend’s initial record for the label, Am Wochenende Rapper, premiered in the summertime of 2013, and became a substantial commercial achievement in Germany.
