Wayne Johnson

A talented guitarist influenced a little by Pat Metheny, Wayne Johnson has spent a lot of his profession in the backdrop, doing studio function and touring using the Manhattan Transfer. He began playing acoustic guitar when he was eight and received many contests while still in college. Johnson went to Berklee during 1972-1974, became a member of the Manhattan Transfer’s back-up group in 1976, and in 1977 come up with a favorite trio that documented for Inner Town (1979), ITI (1983), Zebra (1988), and MoJazz (1993). In 1990, Johnson caused Rickie Lee Jones for any year and offers since toured European countries with John Scofield and created records, furthermore to working sometimes along with his trio.
