Ultrageno

Colombian alternate/metal music group Ultrágeno produced its live debut in-may of 1996 beneath the name of La Sopita. In 1997, the group performed at Bogota’s Rock and roll Al Parque, playing plus a.N.We.M.A.L., Chilean funk-rock music group Chancho en Piedra, and Control Machete, amongst others. That same 12 months, Ultrágeno registered to impartial label Hormiga Loca, documenting the act’s debut recording in 1998, that was made by Julián Silva. A 12 months later on, Ultrágeno participated inside a tribute to Argentinean Soda pop Stereo known as Tributo Bizarro a Soda pop Stereo system: Gracias Totales, offering “Nuestra Fe.” Ultrágeno’s self-titled record was voted Greatest Independent Recording by Shock publication.
