A heady, Krautrock-inspired cooperation between Brit-pop acoustic guitar legend/maker Bernard Butler (Suede) and Yummy Hair/1990s guitarist Jackie McKeown (the group also contains Paul Borchers and Igor Volk), Trans grew away of improvisational classes between your two veteran axe slingers. Summed up by its makers as “Glasgow remaining/London ideal,” the group’s Tough Trade-issued debut EP, Trans Crimson, which presented improvised recordings produced at Studio room 355 in London in 2012 which were edited straight down and peppered with tasteful overdubs, found its way to 2013.
