Tippa Lee

A dancehall singer who went from strike singles, to obscure, and 30 years later on landed within the Rocks Throw label, Tippa Lee was created Anthony Campbell in Kingston, Jamaica. He debuted in 1983 as Tipper Lee along with Johnny Slaughter on the solitary “Sensimillia.” That year’s break up recording Murder acted as his debut LP and presented slashes from Lee with Slaughter, alongside solo songs from Toyan.
