Los Angeles-based duo THEY. defy easy categorization using a deft mixture of R&B, hip-hop, rock and roll, and pop spawned by such mixed affects as Nirvana, New Model, Ed Sheeran, Acquiring Back Weekend, and James Dark brown. Blurring the genre lines, the set first produced waves using their contribution on Zhu’s 2015 Genesis Series monitor “Doing work for It,” which also highlighted Skrillex. THEY. were produced by Denver manufacturer Dante and Washington, D.C. manufacturer/vocalist Drew Like.
