The Youngs

The Seattle-based art rock duo the Youngs certainly are a married couple comprising guitarist/singer Timothy Young and drummer/singer Eryn Young. They fulfilled at Cornish University from the Arts in 1992 when Timothy was 23 and Eryn was 17, plus they had been shortly playing music jointly, initially within a jazz group. Eryn continued to be at Cornish University through 1995, learning music, while Timothy shifted to several musical organizations in Seattle. He performed in a number of regional bands with such nationwide and international statistics as David Sylvian and Costs Frisell. In 1999, Eryn transferred to Seattle, and she and Timothy became an enchanting couple, ultimately marrying. When Timothy was asked to perform on the O.K. Resort, he asked Eryn to become listed on him on drums; she bought a $100 gadget drum place for the event. They were glad by the effect and produced a long lasting duo because the Youngs. In Oct 2004, the net of Mimicry label released their debut record, The Youngs.
