Hope

Hope did a unitary, made by Warren Kendrick (the Litter, the Electras, the Paisleys) for his Peacefulness label. These were pleasing, if not really too remarkable, soft pop-rock songs using a folky experience and some orchestration, emphasizing vocalist John Tuttle’s high, nearly effeminate tone of voice. The various other three people of Hope have been in the Castaways, the Minneapolis music group well-known for their one-shot garage-pop strike “Liar, Liar” in 1965. Both tracks from the Wish single, “OF THAT TIME PERIOD YOU CAN VIEW” and “Greenhouse,” are on the Arf! Arf! compilation The Scotty Tale, which assembles 30 paths that Kendrick created for his brands.
