Detroit’s Twilight Infants formed in 2001 around vocalist Alison Lewis and multi-instrumentalists Mikey Dark brown and Adam Walker. non-e were strangers towards the Engine City music picture — Lewis experienced issued a single LP previous that 12 months, while Dark brown and Walker had been members from the digital music clothing 19.5 Collective. As Twilight Infants, the trio flitted openly between trip-hop consistency and desire pop fuzz, combining digital soundscapes with considerable guitar function and Lewis’ lush, soulful vocals. The trio’s eponymous debut was released in August 2002 to substantial regional acclaim, and was backed by a circular of live shows; the center of Something LP made an appearance a little more than a year later.
