Deolinda

Portuguese fado group Deolinda is known as after the primary personality in the group’s debut concept album, Canção ao Lado (“The Track NEARBY”, a shut-in surviving in a Lisbon apartment who watches the world through her windows. The songs had been compiled by guitarist Pedro da Silva Martins, who became a member of with vocalist Ana Bacalhau, guitarist Luis José Martins, and acoustic bass participant Zé Pedro Leitão to create Deolinda in Lisbon in 2006. They documented the recording in past due 2007 and early 2008, and it had been released in Portugal in past due 2008, resulting in platinum product sales. Four Quarters Entertainment released Canção ao Lado in the U.S. on July 28, 2009.
