The Third Attention Basis was the apocalyptic drum’n’bass alias of onetime Traveling Saucer Strike member Matt Elliot. Debuting in 1996 with Semtex, he came back a year afterwards using the EP The Audio of Violence, shortly accompanied by the full-length Ghost. You Men Kill Me made an appearance in 1998, and in early 2000 the 3rd Eye Base resurfaced with Small Lost Soul.
