Led with a.B. Crentsil, the Nice Talks were probably one of the most well-known highlife bands to use in the 1970s. The music group began as the state band of a Ghanaian cup factory, but later on received sponsorship from, and a house at, the Chat of the city club. Their 1st recording, Adam and Eve, produced enough of the splash in Globe Music waters to result in a tour of America in 1975 and a follow-up recording documented Stateside in 1978. The group split up some time after. Crentsil continued to create the Super Nice Talks, which became referred to as the Ahento Music group.
