The Story

Folk-pop duo the storyplot were made up of singer/songwriters Jonatha Brooke and Jennifer Kimball, who initial teamed up in 1981 while freshmen at Amherst College. Originally showing up beneath the name Jonatha & Jennifer, they performed frequently through the entire Boston region until graduation, of which period Brooke became a member of a dance firm and Kimball became a member of a publishing company. The casual gig followed, nevertheless; in 1989, they finally documented a demonstration, dubbed Over Oceans, and had been quickly signed with the Green Linnet label. Changing their name towards the Tale, their debut LP Sophistication in Gravity made an appearance in 1991; Elektra after that purchased the duo, reissuing the record a year afterwards. Angel inside your home implemented in 1993, but a season later the storyplot dissolved; both Brooke and Kimball continuing on as single performers.
