The Sensations

A Philly vocal group who have been originally referred to as the Cavaliers in 1954, the Feelings initially featured dual business lead vocalists Yvonne Mills Baker and Tommy Wicks. They liked two Best 40 R&B strikes for the reason that vein, the largest being “Make sure you Mr. Disk Jockey” for Atco in 1956. They transformed their design and lineup in 1961, with Baker and bass vocalist Alphonso Howell from the initial band being joined up with by Richard Drape and Sam Armstrong. They have scored their biggest strike with “I WANT TO In,” which reached number 2 over the R&B graphs (number 4 pop) for Argo in 1962.
