The Glorious Sons

A no-frills, everyman Canadian rock and roll device in the vein from the Tragically Hip, the Headstones, the Arkells, as well as the Trews, Kingston, Ontario’s the Glorious Sons formed in 2011 round the skills of Jay Emmons, Andrew Adolescent, Adam Paquette, Chris Huot, and Brett Emmons. Focusing on a winning mixture of rootsy alt-pop and Canadian blue-collar trad rock and roll, the band released a debut EP (Shapeless Artwork) in 2013 — the EP garnered reviews that are positive, as do their energetic concert events. The following yr saw the music group go to the studio using the Trews’ John-Angus MacDonald and record their debut long-player. The producing Black Package Recordings-issued Union, which presented the radio strikes “Mama,” “Large,” “White colored Sound,” and “Lightning,” found its way to September 2014.
