Whimsical yet thought-provoking puppeteer and visible and recording artist Miss Pussycat (aka Panacea Theriac) was created and raised in Antlers, Oklahoma. She started creating young, influenced by her father’s paintings and her amount of time in her church’s Christian Puppet Youngsters Ministry. After learning art in university, she shifted to New Orleans, where she staged puppet displays in her home and ran the Pussycat Caverns, an underground nightclub. It had been after that that she fulfilled her innovative and passionate partner, Quintron, with whom she started collaborating in the middle-’90s. Along with focusing on Quintron’s music and concerts, she released many albums with her puppet music group Flossie & the Unicorns (1996’s Magic formula Objective, 1998’s L M N O P, and 2003’s The Pets’ Clubhouse) and developed movies including 2005’s Electric powered Swamp, that was released with Quintron’s recording from that yr, Swamp Tech. A number of the puppet displays and video clips she performed through the 2000s and 2010s included 2005’s Caveman Caverns, 2012’s The Secret of Aged Bathbath — which presented the recurring personas Trixie as well as the Tree Trunks — and 2013’s Cookie Carnival Cooking Contest, that was documented at New Orleans’ Modern Arts Middle during Miss Pussycat’s artwork installation Anthropomorphizer. 2 yrs later, an recording from the same name gathered the soundtracks to many of her puppet displays.
