Christopher Tolle (vocals/acoustic guitar/bass) and Jake Cardwell (drums/percussion) were having some beverages in an area pub in Lawrence, KS, if they struck up a discussion about music. It had been 2001 and both got got their hands in additional projects over time and were searching for something even more long term; Cardwell was a classes contributor to famous brands the brand new Amsterdams and Protection in Amounts, while Tolle was an associate from the Creature Conveniences.
