A journeyman pianist, arranger, and composer, Michigan local Terry Decrease studied his build at Berklee College of Music in Boston. After graduating, Decrease moved back again to Michigan and started recording and executing with a number of performers including Benny Golson, Bobby Shew, and Frank Morgan. In 2005, he released his initial studio album, Step-by-step, offering his jazz septet.
