Sumerlands

Sumerlands certainly are a Philadelphia-based rock quintet comprising picture veterans whose audio is rooted in vintage power metal from your ’80s and ’90s. Fronted by vocalist Phil Swanson (Hour of 13, Atlantean Kodex), the lineup is usually curved out by creator guitarist and renowned maker/engineer Arthur Rizk (Battle Hungry), drummer Justin De Tore (Devil’s Dare, Boston Strangler), guitarist John Capabilities, and bassist Brad Raub (both of Natural leather). Their acclaimed Guardian Demonstration was released in the summertime of 2014 on Cyclopean Information, followed by local touring. Sumerlands continuing documenting with Rizk behind the planks and emerged using their self-titled debut recording on Relapse in nov 2016.
