Subthunk

The Los Angeles-based experimental jazz trio subthunk formed in 1998 with Antony Neely (programming/guitar), Alex U’Ren (Fxsharp) and Joe Nugent (drums). As well as an Apple iBook, subthunk made an eclectic jazz funk which has been hailed being a “cool ass space groove.” Their debut record, Project B made an appearance in 2001; A calendar year afterwards, subthunk released the wonderful, solid second record JUST A COUPLE Notes PRIOR TO GOING.
