Steve Matteo has discussed music, books, film, the arts, and sports activities for over twenty years. He provides created for such magazines as the brand new York Moments, the LA Moments, Newsday, St. Petersburg Moments, New York mag, Blender, Rolling Rock, Spin, Information, Interview, Elle, Salon, North Atlantic Review, Writer’s Journal, Utne Audience, Sing Out!, Pulse, Demand, CMJ, Goldmine, Relix, Jazziz, Town Pages, Listener, MEMORIES, the Island Ear canal, and Jazz Improv. He’s also Senior Adding Editor with Inside Connection and continues to be the Music Editor of Revise and Nightlife journals. He is the writer of Dylan, a biography of Bob Dylan released in 1998 by MetroBooks, an imprint of Friedman/Fairfax Posting, which is possessed by Barnes and Noble. He spent some time working in radio as the author of the Something New plan for WLIR in NY and as this program Movie director of WNYT, also in NY; he is the Music and Editorial Movie director from the nationally broadcast radio system FM Odyssey. Additional positions he offers held consist of DJ and VJ. Finally, he spent some time working in a variety of capacities for Remaining Field Solutions, Pete Townshend’s U.S.-centered company. He lives in NY along with his wife and child.
