“Awesome” began as a task involving stars Evan Mosher, John Ackermann, Kirk Anderson, John Osebald, Rob Witmer, David Nixon, and Basil Harris as some sort of cabaret action, something to amuse a audience. Since it grew in reputation, as well as the stars became better musical performers, “Awesome” converted into the group’s primary task. The record Delaware stemmed from a display from the same name performed at Seattle’s Re-bar Movie theater from Feb 17-26, 2005, and later in the entire year from Oct 7-29. The record combines movie theater, spoken phrase, children’s songs, restricted pop harmonies, and myriad noises in the multi-instrumental members from the band.
