Stateless

Led by falsetto-equipped vocalist, keyboardist, and guitarist Chris Adam, the Leeds, England-based Stateless — a left-of-center, electronics-enhanced rock-band that recalled Radiohead, post-Protection Massive Strike, and Coldplay in differing degrees — took form in 2003. Demos for the emotive music “Leave” and “Prism #1” had been found by BBC Radio 1 and gained the eye of Sony, where Stateless released the 2004 one “Down Right here.” The Sony-BMG merger brought a finish towards the band’s major-label agreement. They briefly associated with the Regal label and released the four-track Blood stream EP. James after that added lyrics and vocals to two tracks, “Erase You” and “You MANAGED TO GET,” for DJ Shadow’s 2006 recording The Outsider. Another short-term offer for Stateless yielded a self-titled recording released on !K7 in 2007. Matilda, another album, premiered on Ninja Listen in 2011 and presented strings through the Balanescu Quartet on three tracks. At that time with time, the band presented Wayne, along with kidkanevil (turntables, development), David Levin (drums), and Justin Percival (bass).
