Sophie Monk

Australian actress and singer Sophie Monk began her professional career in 1999 when she received a spot in the tv screen show Popstars. The show’s idea was to make a feminine pop group, and following a group of on-air skill tournaments, Monk was chosen alongside Belinda Chapple, Katie Underwood, Sally Polihronas, and Chantelle Barrios (who was simply replaced immediately after by Tiffani Hardwood) to create Bardot. Following the group divide in 2002, Monk pursued a single career, putting your signature on with Warner Music and dealing with manufacturer Rob Davis on her behalf first solo one, “Inside Outdoors,” that was released that same calendar year. In January 2008, press reports circulated saying that Monk experienced split up with her longtime partner Benji Madden, business lead guitarist of Great Charlotte. The break up was confirmed per month later.
