Shea Seger

Using a voice that sometimes recalls the delicate vulnerability of Olivia Newton John, the sultry swagger of Sheryl Crow, the direct irony of Ani DiFranco, as well as the willowy keen of Tori Amos, Shea Seger debuted in October 2000 using the British discharge from the May Street Task. Positive press there predated the album’s summer months 2001 discharge within the U.S. by RCA. Shea was created in Fort Value, TX, raised within the close by small city of Quitman, TX, and musically informed by her father’s different record collection (she promises everyone from Curtis Mayfield to Green Floyd as early affects).
