Given birth to in 1981 and elevated in Essex, Britain, David Meads started writing poetry like a 24-year-old. He ultimately used the pseudonym Scroobius Pip, an intentional misspelling of the Edward Lear poem, and began touring the U.K. like a spoken term artist. After overall focus on a self-released poetry recording, No Industrial Breaks, in 2006, Scroobius Pip place his solo profession on keep and formed an electric hip-hop duo with regional maker Daniel Stephens (aka Dan Le Sac) rather. Christening themselves dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip, both mixed Pip’s witty poetry with Le Sac’s glitchy consumer electronics, a mixture that gained accolades in the U.K. aswell as America. Dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip released two albums — including 2008’s Perspectives, which became a high 40 strike in Britain — before both users briefly came back their focus on their own single careers. Going for a break from hip-hop, Pip explored a far more rock-oriented audio on 2011’s Distraction Items, a popular single recording that peaked at quantity 35 in the U.K.
