School Damage

Melbourne, Australia-based indie punk quartet College Damage originally shaped being a low-key saving task of duo Carolyn Hawkins and Jake Robertson. Both players have been deeply involved with Melbourne’s D.We.Y. scene, all of them with an extended history of account in regional indie rings like Chook Competition, Ausmuteants, Frowning Clouds, Natural leather Towel, and many more. Both songwriters originally proved helpful together on brand-new materials that channeled obscure early underground indie performers such as Youthful Marble Giants as well as the Cannanes, however the set quickly noticed the tracks warranted a full-band set up, plus they enlisted bassist Dani Damage and drummer Jeff Raty to complete their sound. The music group performed regionally and released many 7″s and cassettes before completing focus on a self-titled debut record. The record premiered in the summertime of 2017 in the Section Music label.
