Russell Farhang

Russell Farhang was raised in LA and analyzed classical violin. He performed as an adolescent using the Interlochen Globe Youngsters Symphony Orchestra but quickly became fascinated with jazz. He begun to explore jazz improvisation in the violin and caused jazz groupings in the LA area. Shifting to NY in 1992, he used a number of bluegrass, nation, and rock rings, ultimately learning to be a key person in the Howard Fishman Quartet.
