Robert Ealey

Dallas-based vocalist and songwriter Robert Ealey began singing in his regional church at age 15 using a quartet group in his indigenous Texarkana. Inspired by famous brands Lightnin’ Hopkins, Lil’ Kid Jackson, Frankie Lee Sims and Aaron “T-Bone” Walker, he started singing blues skillfully at 20 after he transferred to Dallas. In close by Fort Value, he became a member of the Boogie Chillen Children and became a highlighted vocalist on the Blue Parrot Membership there. After performing there for twenty years, Ealey bought the Blue Parrot Club and went it for another a decade. In 1990, Ealey installed with guitarist Build Sommer and started touring beyond Texas. The music group quickly discovered an audience because of their authentic Texas metropolitan blues in European countries, where they will have toured greater than a dozen situations since 1990. Sommer and Ealey also do TV commercial function that used their music. Every Sept, Ealey performs in his very own blues festival, kept in Sundance Square, Fort Worthy of. After BlackTop Information purchased several professional tapes from the very best Kitty label in Dallas, they released Ealey’s COME OUT the Lights.
