Primer 55

Primer 55 isn’t your average band of rock and roll stars. The music group was created in 1997 after many years of coping with the stale music picture in Memphis, TN, dominated by loss of life metallic and cover rings. Rather than relax and complain, the group made a decision to do something positive about it. Guitarist Bobby Burns up, led by his rock past, co-founded the music group with vocalist J-Sin, who added a far more hip-hop taste to the blend. Both enlisted assistance from close friends Mike “Jr.” Christopher on bass and Josh McLane on drums. They quickly obtained an underground pursuing using their intense live shows and in 1999 released their self-titled debut recording on the impartial label Propellant Transmissions. Soon after this launch, the group was provided a agreement with Isle Def Jam. Once they graciously approved the present, the group continuing with their cross heavy metallic/hip-hop style on the 2000 launch Launch to Mayhem. The record is a vacation in to the depths of severe interest and music power. By using Incubus DJ Chris Kilmore, (hed) p.e. frontman MCUD, and Comparative Ash vocalist Tag Harrington, the record solidified Primer 55 being a musical power to become reckoned with. Following discharge, the music group toured almost non-stop and discovered themselves between the top notch of hard rock and roll. In 2001, the music group changed drummer Josh McLane, who still left for personal factors, with John Kamoosi to keep work on brand-new material.
