Poor Old Lu

Seattle punk rockers Poor Older Lu were influenced by rings like All and Screeching Weasel when rings like Nirvana and Pearl Jam were beginning to create a nationwide hype. Side-stepping grunge completely, the band got their punk audio and used a Christian message to it. This place them inside a category with MXPX and few others as the pioneers from the genre, a thing that would be helpful when the mainstream captured onto the punk-pop sensation. Poor Aged Lu agreed upon to Alarma in the middle-90’s and released several important albums before they strike an innovative standstill in 1996. Rather than forcing new materials, the group stepped apart for another couple of years and done their own tasks. By 2001, the music group was prepared to come back jointly and record brand-new material. Agreed upon on with the Tooth and Toe nail label, the music group released The Waiting around Area in 2002.
