Omni

Among the lesser-known songwriting/producing groups of their own time, Rodney G. Massey (b. Jan. 5, 1953) and Lawrence Hanks (b. 1955) fulfilled up as teens; they gradually shaped a a friendly relationship that ultimately led to an innovative union. In the past due ’60s, the duo was tutored by famous brands Kenny Gamble, Leon Huff and Jerry “Iceman” Butler. To determine their own specific niche market on the market, the pair attempt to create tracks for various performers. By the first seventies, the Chicago natives got produced and created tracks for well-known R&B works. Upon recording a variety of demos, Massey and Hanks made a decision to launch an album like a duo bearing the name Omni. Using the blessings from the Butler, both started in the Iceman’s Fountain Information and individually released their assortment of tracks. With disco reigning and without the essential advertising, the soulful tracks never took trip regardless of their quality and radio charm.
