Nymb

Constituting in the mid-’90s in Chicago, Nymb presented initial visions for probably the most melodious areas of guitar rock and roll, distinguishing their creations by building skilled and artsy music. Elaine Doty (acoustic guitar, vocals), Nathan Snydacker (bass), Jamie Zoeller (acoustic guitar), and Ben Kane (drums) guaranteed the lineup of the choice team. Playing countless gigs, Nymb quickly became among the main acts at the neighborhood music scene, liberating its first disk, the EP Novembre, in 1998. Gathering a good group of fans and a significant reputation, not merely in Chicago but also beyond the windy town, Nymb released The Cup Eye, another EP in 1999. In 2001, and soon before delivering WHICH MEANS THIS Is How IT REALLY IS, their debut full-length, Nymb announced their parting, releasing their last recording, Nothing at all New, a limited-edition EP, in August of this same year.
