Former person in past due-’90s alt-rockers Slim Lizard Dawn, singer/songwriter and guitarist Howie Statland can be the first choice of NYCSmoke. Elevated in Chicago, Statland 1st started learning piano as a young child, before switching to acoustic guitar after being influenced from the Who.
