The associates of indie art rock-band Nurses acquired known one another since elementary school and lastly put Nurses together around 2004. On the whim, they transferred off their hometown in Idaho to California. In 2006 they documented in NORTH PARK with manufacturer Jason Cupp (the Elected, Finch) and self-released Hangin’ Nothin’ But Our WITHOUT DOUBT. The lineup by spring 2007 contains Aaron Chapman (vocals, electric guitar, piano), John Bowers (electric guitar, piano, vocals), Bobby Bolton (drums, vocals), and Charlie Bolton (bass, vocals). Nevertheless, because of their 2009 Deceased Oceans debut Apple’s Acre — that was documented on a notebook — the group pared right down to the primary duo of Bowers and Chapman. Nurses extended their audio and lineup on 2011′ s Dracula, adding member Wayne Mitchell towards the collapse and recording inside a studio room they built-in an Oregon cabin.
