R&B vocal quartet Nu Taste formed in Long Seaside, CA, in 1994 after users Frank Pangelinan (tenor/business lead), Jacob Ceniceros (baritone), Anthony DaCosta (tenor), and Rico Luna (alto) met in a celebration. The foursome quickly recorded a demonstration having a cover of Journey’s smash ballad “Open up Arms”; following the tape produced its method to Reprise chief executive Howie Klein, he authorized Nu Flavor at that moment. Their self-titled debut recording adopted in 1997, starting the strikes “Heaven” and “Nice Sexy Thing”; It’s On made an appearance two years later on.
